Matt Gardner and Susan Hicks recently attended the Troop 186 Court of Honor.  Mr. Gardner presented Carson Di Maria with the 2019 Glenn A. and Melinda W. Adams National Eagle Scout Service Project of the Year Award for Catalina Council. His Eagle project was great and really helped out the community.

We are pleased to announce our newest Eagle Scout Ryan Melendez. Ryan completed his Eagle Board earlier this year and appears in this picture with Scoutmaster Stone. Ryan crossed over from Pack 186 with his Arrow of Light and became a model scout. During his time with Troop 186, Ryan learned leadership and planning skills through multiple leadership roles like Patrol Leader and Senior Patrol Leader, these skills played a big part in the “monumental” success of his Eagle project that placed work crews all around Saguaro National Park. In addition to his duties with Troop 186, Ryan balanced an aggressive sports schedule, playing baseball and basketball in school and clubs.

Congratulations Ryan for a job well done!

The troop has had a wonderful and magnificent time up at Summer Camp this year! The photos are linked in two places. The first is a photo gallery already located on the website.
