Backpacks

A good backpack can last nearly a lifetime if well taken care of. Unfortunately, the pack a scout starts out in is usually too small by the time they finish their scouting adventure. 

One of the worst mistakes a scout can make is choosing a backpack that can’t be sized for their body. A fully loaded pack can weigh up to 40 lbs., if the pack does sit right on their hips or shoulders it’s not going to be a safe and enjoyable trip.
